Job Description:

Applications are welcomed from qualified and experienced candidates for the Accounting Clerk position, available at HQ and Victoria Falls Medical Centre under Parksmed Medical Centre. The role reports to the Fund’s Senior Accountant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry into the Pastel system.
  • Management of creditors, debtors, cash, and bank reconciliation.
  • Handling cash receipts from customers.
  • Preparation and banking of cash as required.
  • Execution of necessary transfers.
  • Efficient filing of all relevant documents.
  • Assistance in payment-related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or a relevant qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 O’Levels, including English, Mathematics, or Accounts.
  • A Level passes.
  • Professional qualifications such as Pastel, CIS, SAAA, ACCA, and membership in a relevant professional board are advantageous.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy.
