Alexio in virgin Dubai performance

Afrojazz crooner Alexio Kawara will perform for the first time in Dubai on August 26.
Alexio’s maiden show will be held at Ibis Hotel courtesy of Todawo Entertainment.
Alexio’s show comes hot on the heels of Mukoko hit maker Ammara Brown’s reportedly sold out show in that country last month.
In an interview, the show organiser Clive Mhende said Alexio’s fans in Dubai were looking forward to seeing him perform for he has been on the music scene for more than a decade.
“He has been in the music industry for a long time, well established and is a serial hit maker,” he said.
“The fans in Dubai were also longing for him so it was an easy decision to make.”
Todawo has successfully hosted Cindy Munyavi, Rockford Josphats, Trevor Dongo, Sanni Makhalima and Leonard Mapfumo in Dubai.
However the Dubai terrain is for the brave hearted, Zim dancehall kingpin Killer T had a monumental flop and attracted less than 20 people inclusive of his management and show promoters
