Apply for the US Women in Tech Accelerator 2025

This three-year initiative is dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs working on innovative solutions to enhance economic mobility and equitable access to essential services across the United States.

The U.S. Women in Tech Accelerator addresses the funding challenges faced by women entrepreneurs, providing early-stage financial and social support to promote economic advancement and improve access to vital resources for women, families, and marginalized communities.

Each year, the program will select 10–12 startups focused on technology-based or technology-enabled solutions. Participants will gain the tools they need to grow their ventures, create job opportunities, and drive significant change in their communities.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Startups must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a legally registered, U.S.-based for-profit business with fewer than 10 employees.
  • Have at least one full-time founder identifying as a woman, including cisgender, transgender, and non-binary individuals.
  • Generate revenue below $100,000 annually.
  • Show strong customer or business validation, such as pilot studies, user metrics, or partnerships.
  • Possess a minimum viable product (MVP) and have raised less than $1.5 million in equity.
  • Operate in a tech-based or tech-enabled field addressing one or more of these focus areas:
    • Expanding access to affordable, high-quality healthcare and wellness resources.
    • Supporting care workers to deliver higher-quality services and increase accessibility.
    • Strengthening community-integrated initiatives.
    • Innovating education to improve quality and accessibility.
    • Enhancing access to essential services for underserved communities.
    • Reducing employment barriers and creating pathways for career growth.
    • Empowering financial literacy and resilience for individuals and families.
    • Promoting economic mobility through career advancement, homeownership, and investment opportunities.

Program Benefits:

  • Financial Support: One-on-one sessions with an investment analyst to build financial models and narratives.
  • Grant Opportunities: Two startups will receive $25,000 each, selected by their peers, to scale their solutions.
  • Mentorship and Networking: Opportunities to connect with investors, strategic partners, and industry leaders.
  • Milestone Planning: Develop a tailored plan for investment readiness and growth using Abaca, Village Capital’s milestone tracking platform.
  • Peer Learning and Evaluation: Engage in Village Capital’s unique peer-led due diligence process, placing entrepreneurs at the heart of investment decision-making.
