Admire Kuzhangaira, also known as Bhutisi, is a Zimbabwean actor, comedian, and filmmaker known for his work on the comedy show P.O. Box Reloaded and the organization P.O. Box. He co-founded the show with Rolland Lunga(Boss Kedha) and Lucky Aaroni.
Kuzhangaira’s grandmother, Rhoda Mtembe, played Mai Sorobhi in the popular TV series Paraffin. Kuzhangaira’s entry into internet comedy occurred unexpectedly when he connected with former classmates from Ziftessa, Lucky Aaroni(Boss Kedha), and Rolland Lunga, who had set up a comedy show called “P.O. Box.” Kuzhangaira joined the team and later played the character “Bhutisi” in “Bustop TV.”
Kuzhangaira trained at the Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa and made his breakthrough in 2014 with the popular video “Boys dzeTonaz aka Hatiuye Ikoko.” His career has focused on addressing real-life situations affecting Zimbabwe through his videos.
Another notable work by Kuzhangaira and his co-actor, Boss Kheda, is “Boys dzeTonaz aka Hatiuye Ikoko,” “Mubhanditi Bhutisi,” and “Chaunoda chii.” However, a show he was supposed to perform with Guspy Warrior and King Shaddy in Cape Town was cancelled due to poor turnout and weak marketing.
Kuzhangaira received the NAMA 2019 Film and Television Awards for Outstanding Actor and Special Mention in death and other compilations.
He recently received a Toyota Aqua from Sir Wicknell after pleading with him to recognize his efforts in supporting the Zanu PF party in the past years
