Blot Left Stranded as Management Team Walks Away

Takura 'Blot' Chiwoniso

Zimdancehall musician Takura ‘Blot’ Chiwoniso is in rough waters because his management group has decided to break up with him.

David Tatenda Shilline, also known as Kingdollar from Royal Empire Records International, is leading the group. This choice is made in the midst of Blot’s widely reported drug addiction issues, which have been a constant cause for worry.

Ironically, Blot has persisted in releasing music to support others in their fight against drug and substance abuse despite his personal struggles. Nevertheless, attempts to obtain a response from him proved fruitless, since he could not be reached on his cell device.

Kingdollar reminisced about Blot’s ascent to stardom, describing how the musician rose to recognition in 2016 thanks to his smash hit song “Ndiri Bad on the Stage Riddim” through Chill Spot Records. He talked about a crucial occasion when Blot performed a freestyle in Mbare that amazed Dama’s sister and got him introduced to DJ Fantan at Chillspot Records. Promoters were keen to obtain Blot’s appearances as his career took off from that point on.

Blot was recently detained and charged with possession of crystal meth; however, the Mbare Magistrate Court cleared him of all charges.
