Waiting for Diamond Platnumz? Then you have to wait. Don’t you worry now; it’s just a little longer and it will be better.
At least that is the notion according to show organisers 2 Kings Entertainment.
Diamond Platnumz will now perform at the Harare International Conference Centre on December 2.
The announcement was made Thursday noon and 2 Kings Entertainment boss Dee Nosh said they had decided to move the dates to ensure they plan everything according to book.
“We initially opted for Glamis Arena to avoid clashing with HICC’s prior engagements. After we opted for Glamis Arena, we later realised that the venue needed a lot more work than expected. Work that we cannot do and satisfactorily complete in so short a period,” said Dee Nosh.
“After giving Zimbabwe a classy Morgan Heritage show we can’t afford to mess Diamond Platnumz because Glamis Arena needs work and in a short time we wouldn’t have done it well. So we moved the dates again.”
He said the gig has been moved back to HICC to ensure that they avoid rain fears.
“In December the rainy season would be in full swing so to ensure that we have no problems we moved back to an indoor venue,” he said.
Diamond Platinumz will be performing in the country for the first time.
The tour comes after his duet with Jah Prayzah, Watora Mari, after which the tour has been named.
