Play-Off Draw Explained:
The top eight teams from the 36-team Champions League group stage automatically advanced to the last 16. The bottom eight teams were eliminated, while the remaining 16 teams ranked ninth through 24th entered the play-offs.
Teams finishing in positions 9 to 16 were seeded and drawn into four pairs, while those finishing 17th to 24th were unseeded.
The unseeded teams will face seeded teams in the play-offs, with the seeded teams hosting the second leg due to their higher group stage finish.
Manchester City finished 22nd in the group stage, while Celtic secured 21st. Both teams will now face tough opposition, with City up against Real Madrid (11th) and Celtic drawn against Bayern Munich (12th).
