Chidzidzi Happy With Sanganai/Hlanganani Kick Off
Zimbabwe Tourism Authority acting chief executive Givemore Chidzidzi is a happy man following the more than expected response to the 12th Sanganai/Hlanganani Tourism Expo which started today in Bulawayo at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Premises.
“We have on board 170 buyers representing ten countries from different continents and tweny five international journalists. Even after 290 exhibitors accommodating 290 exhibitors, we still have more businesses who want to come and exhibit,” said Mr Chidzidzi during a press conference where he was accompanied by Paul Matamisa the chief executive of the Tourism Business Council.
The main activities of the day were the Speed Networking Session between exhibitors and buyers, Culinary Tourism Demos and Schools Sustainable Tourism Quiz followed by a buyer’s cocktail at the Railways Museum where they are given yet more time to network.
