Social media sensation Chipo, known as The Troublecauser, can breathe a sigh of relief as she anticipates spending the weekend in the comfort of her own home rather than behind bars.
Following her arrest for assault stemming from a contentious clothing transaction gone awry in Harare, Chipo was granted bail yesterday.
Appearing before magistrate Lynn Chizhou alongside her sister Candice and Everlyn Chandengenda, the social media star—whose real name is Donna Chasaya—found temporary respite from her legal woes.

H-Metro exclusively reported yesterday that Chipo’s apprehension occurred after she caused a scene at Avondale Police Station.
Released on bail for US$50 each, Chipo and her cohorts faced accusations from Precious Chigodora, the complainant in the case.
According to court proceedings, Chigodora encountered the trio while en route to Belgravia shops on Wednesday, only to be confronted by Chipo, who accused her of besmirching her reputation on Facebook.
What followed was a heated altercation, with Chipo allegedly shoving Chigodora to the ground before delivering several kicks, while Chandengenda and Candice joined in the assault.
The discord between the parties stemmed from a soured clothing deal, with Chipo purportedly failing to fulfill her financial obligations after obtaining clothes on credit from Chigodora.
Although Chipo The Troublecauser allegedly returned some of the garments, tensions boiled over, resulting in the regrettable altercation.
