A pastor with End-Time Messages in Chiredzi had two children with a lady he solemnized his marriage to, in a tale of adultery more bizarre than fiction.
Since DNA testing revealed that the children were not Hatirarami’s, Eunice Mururi and Farai Hatirarami’s marriage has irreparably failed.
Mururi hauled Pastor Pamire Vhetu to Chiredzi Magistrate Court for maintenance. The pastor acknowledged that two of Mururi’s children, ages eight and four, were his, but he begged for less money because he was a minister and did not receive a salary.
Hatirarami is not the father of the two children, according to DNA results obtained by The Mirror
On October 7, 2024, Mururi of Tshovani Township brought the Pastor before the court for US$700 in maintenance, making the issue public.
Vhetu acknowledged that he was the one who destroyed the marriage between the two of them.
Farai Chauke of F. Chauke and Associates, who represented Vhetu, stated that he is merely a pastor who is not paid but depends on tithe and gifts, which are primarily food hampers.
He continued by offering ZWG150 per child for upkeep each month.

Three-hectare vhetu Buffalo Ranch has eight other kids and works as a farmer. He further disclosed to the court that he only has an EcoCash account and no bank account.
He promised to pay school fees on time and purchase school clothing. He added that the only months he may purchase clothing are June and December.
According to Vhetu’s opposing affidavit, “clothes are not bought on a monthly basis except for Ellon Musk’s Children.”
The application was denied by Magistrate Diana Musiiwa, who stated that his offer was not sincere. She mandated that the pastor pay $175 USD a month for both children.
