A 32-year-old man from Chitungwiza Simba Machipisa has been charged with the horrific murder of his ex-lover’s two-year-old son, Truth, in a horrific act of retaliation.
The horrific event took place at the mother’s home on Kunadanga Road in Zengeza, where Machipisa was not allowed to go because of past abuse and a current protection order.
Witnesses describe the terrifying events of how Machipisa, who was well-known for his aggressive tendencies and martial arts abilities, broke into the home by tricking the adolescent daughter into believing he was her uncle.
Once inside, he struck the gullible toddler with a vengeance, hitting his head repeatedly on the ground until the child passed away from his wounds.
“The boyfriend had a peace order against him due to his continuous abuse of Nomsa, but he took advantage of her absence to commit this heinous crime,” said an eyewitness.

The motive behind the killing is believed to be Machipisa’s twisted revenge for his recent arrest and jailing following the issuance of a protection order against him by his ex-lover, Nomsa Sengwe.
Sources reveal that Machipisa had repeatedly breached the court order, harassing Sengwe and vandalizing her property, and had even threatened to burn down her home.
The community is outraged, demanding justice for the senseless murder of an innocent child.
The police have launched a thorough investigation, and Machipisa is currently in custody at St Mary’s Police Station, facing charges of murder.
The body of the deceased child has been taken to Chitungwiza Central Hospital mortuary.
