Ngomashi made the announcements Friday morning before his first show at 6pm on the day saying he will now be presenting a new show that is aimed at encouraging event organisers to give away goods.

“It’s all about having fun. Giving out some stuff, giving away tickets at events. We will be targeting event organisers so that they can give away complementary tickets,” said Ngomashi.

Ngomashi said although it was not yet clear how long he would be working with Zimonline Radio, they were planning on having the show get a longer slot.

“It is currently a 35 minute program but we are looking at it going and getting a bigger slot,” said Ngomashi.

Asked whether he expected the new job to be a challenge Ngomashi said he has always loved radio.

“I have always loved radio. In fact growing up I loved radio but never thought I would be a comedian so I think it will not be a challenge settling in,” he said.
