Daisy Mtukudzi, wife of the late music legend Oliver Mtukudzi, has finally addressed the controversy surrounding her step daughter Selmor’s involvement in the Tuku International Festival.
Daisy expressed frustration over the ongoing debate, stating, “I’m tired of that issue because people will always put the blame on me.” She revealed that Selmor had been unresponsive to event organizers, making it difficult to move forward with the festival.
According to Daisy Mtukudzi, the event organizers informed her that Selmor was not answering their calls, leading to a breakdown in communication. Daisy also described Selmor as “difficult,” saying, “She was supposed to be at the forefront leading us, but she is not making it easy.”
Despite concerns about potential boycotts, Daisy remained unfazed, asserting, “It will change nothing.” When asked about claims that Selmor was being treated like an outcast, Daisy responded, “I do not know what people want me to do for Selmor. She is not a minor anymore. She knows the right thing to do for the sake of protecting the family name.”
