Dave Emberton caught stealing bacon?

Former Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation news caster Dave Emberton has reportedly been caught stealing bacon at a Harare supermarket.

A picture of a handcuffed Emberton has been circulating on social media.

Emberton has until last year been working at DSTV Zimbabwe.

Efforts to get a comment from police have so far been fruitless as the Harare Police Spokesperson Assistant Inspector Tarirai Dube said she was at court.

Liz Dziva, DSTV spokesperson confirmed that Emberton left the organisation in 2015.

Unconfirmed reports say Emberton was suffering from an undisclosed mental condition.
