Doc Vikela breaks barriers
…to perform at Gaborone International Music and Culture Week

One of Zimbabwe’s fastest rising stand-up comedians Doc Vikela may finally be breaking barriers with a show penned in for September 2 in Botswana.
Doc Vikela is scheduled to perform alongside Ugandan Salvado, South Africans Lihle Lindzy, Juju Vine and Phenyo at the third edition of the Gaborone International Music and Culture Week.
The comedian’s publicist Batsirai Masvinge told Showbiz Doc Vikela would be performing at the Botswana Gaborone International Music and Culture Week and sharing the stage with African greats.
“We will be travelling to Botswana on the September 2. We are excited to be part of this great festival as we grow the Doc Vikela brand in new markets,” said Masvinge.
“We urge all Zimbabweans living in Gaborone to come and support our comedian at the festival. He has been preparing an amazing set for this particular you and fans will be in for a treat.”
Doc Vikela is one of the fastest rising comics in the country and is a co-founder of Simuka Comedy.
