DSTV Promises a Christmas Festival for All

A wealth of entertainment is planned for DStv viewers in the coming Christmas and new year season, when there will be something for everyone across a range of channels.

Liz Dziva, publicity and public relations manager of MultiChoice Zimbabwe, said many film channels would feature festive season movies while, across may channels, series and programmes will feature episodes related to the build-up to the Christmas season and year end.

“It’s a time of joy and celebration for everyone, whatever their background, and it is especially known as a time of families coming together, and the schedules across DStv will reflect the needs accordingly,” she said.

“In coming weeks specific highlights will be made known, but plans are being made for programming that enhance themes of the season, from goodwill and love to hope and harmony.”

Many US and UK series create episodes relevant to the festive season, and even factual and lifetyle shows focused on themes as far apart as food and home improvement will turn their eyes to content of relevance to ‘the season to be jolly.’

Said Ms Dziva: “The festive infusion will be felt in all genres, from children’s programming to sport, from music to movies and from documentaries to reality … and everything in between.”
