After a fight with their lover turned violent, two Plumtree guys tried to murder a villager and ended up in soup.

On Wednesday, Kudakwashe Dube, 25, and Bonkinkosi Moyo, 22, appeared before Judge Joshua Nembaware.
Nembaware remanded the two people under arrest until June 25.
On June 14, the state, led by Selestine Madziwa, said that the two went up to Owen Sibanda, the complainant, and accused him of kidnapping Dube’s girlfriend.
While the complainant was in excruciating pain, Dube took an okapi knife and stabbed him in the back. Moyo also attacked him with a knobkerrie.
They ran away from the attack, and Sibanda was taken to the hospital right away for a check-up.
In a separate story: A Plumtree man was found guilty of firing his friend over a financial disagreement.
Joshua Nembaware, a Plumtree magistrate, condemned Everton Tshuma to two years in prison.
The defendant and the complainant, Luza Ndebele, were strolling home on June 14 following a piece job they completed together, according to prosecutor Selestine Madziwa, who addressed the court.
Tshuma once gave Ndebele a knife to the left side of his hand after they miscommunicated about the money they had worked so hard to earn.
After receiving care at a nearby hospital, Ndebele filed a police report, and Tshuma was taken into custody.
