Fake ZNA Recruitment Warning

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has issued a cautionary alert regarding a counterfeit recruitment advertisement circulating on various social media platforms.

Colonel Alphios Makotore, the ZNA Director of Public Relations, emphasized that the fraudulent advert aims to deceive and defraud the public.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Colonel Makotore clarified that the ZNA has not released any official recruitment advertisement for the year 2024.

Additionally, he stressed that the ZNA does not utilize social media channels for recruitment purposes.

The public was strongly advised to remain vigilant and informed, emphasizing that the ZNA does not collaborate with third parties for recruitment or charge any fees from applicants.

Colonel Makotore urged individuals who encounter suspicious characters posing as ZNA recruitment agents to promptly report them to the ZNA or the nearest police station.

Concerned citizens can also utilize the ZNA hotline numbers, 0712842318 or 0772258410, to report any such incidents.
