FC Platinum is gearing up for the upcoming 2024 season with a significant squad overhaul, unveiling eight new players as they aim to strengthen their team for the challenges ahead.
The club bid farewell to several experienced players, including Innocent Muchaneka, Perfect Chikwende, Walter Musona, Raphael Muduviwa, goalkeeper Petros Mhari, and Gift Mbweti. Additionally, Gift Bello, who announced his retirement at the end of the previous campaign, departed from Mandava.
In a strategic move to reinforce the squad, FC Platinum has secured the services of Brighton Manhire and Mbongeni Ndlovu from Highlanders. The new signings also include Davison Marowa from Herentals, Shephard Mhlanga from Chicken Inn, goalkeeper David Bizabani from Greenfuel, and Bothwell Nzori from Black Mambas.
In an effort to promote talent from within, FC Platinum has elevated two promising players from their reserves – Tapiwa Revesai and Anesu Chirinda.
