Fleeing Cellphone Thieves Hit by Bus on Chinhoyi Street

A bus on Chinhoyi Street in Harare struck two people who were trying to escape the scene of their crime today in an unexpected turn of events.

The merry town came to a sudden halt as witnesses gathered in shock at this tragedy.

At the scene of the accident, a sizable gathering watched as the two robbers met a horrible end.

While the other man suffered serious injuries, one of the men passed away from his  head wounds right away.

The instant police officers arrived at the scene, the tumultuous situation was captured on camera and uploaded on the Herald YouTube channel.

As the crowd watched in disbelief, law authorities handled the accident’s aftermath.

They quickly rushed the surviving  thief to the hospital.

The two males had reportedly taken a phone from close to the Gulf complex, according to an eyewitness. They encountered oncoming traffic while trying to flee, which resulted in the tragic collision.

The wounded thief, referred to as Gaa in the community, was immediately taken by his parents to the hospital for treatment.

But the hit instantly claimed the life of the second thief. Covered by a cloth, his lifeless body lay on the ground.
