Four men have been sentenced to life in prison for the gruesome killings of Constable Simon Ngakaemang Ntsekeletsa and Sergeant Mojalefa Horatius Molete.
The verdict, delivered on March 7, 2025, followed their conviction on multiple charges, including murder, kidnapping, and armed robbery.
The tragic events took place on July 26, 2021, when the officers stopped a vehicle transporting 18 goats without proper documentation.

While escorting the vehicle to the police station, the suspects launched a violent attack, striking the officers with hammers, restraining them, and forcing them into the back of their police van.
Later, the burnt-out van was found with the officers’ bodies inside, marking a shocking and brutal crime.
