Girlfest Zimbabwe is back, bigger and bolder than ever, with a glamorous return set for Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare.
The women-only lifestyle festival, now firmly established as one of Zimbabwe’s most stylish events, promises a day of music, fashion, food, and unforgettable memories under the theme “Old Money Casual Summer.”
Since its launch in 2019, Girlfest has transformed into a cultural movement, offering women a space to relax, connect and celebrate each other in an atmosphere of elegance and empowerment.
This year’s edition is expected to draw a record crowd of more than 7,500 women, with organisers pulling out all the stops to create what they describe as a sensory playground of community, luxury and entertainment.
The stage will be packed with talent as some of Zimbabwe’s hottest artists deliver back-to-back performances. Quonfuzed, Chillmaster, Kae Chaps, Tamy Moyo and ExQ will bring the local fire, while South African sensations Black Diamond are set to add international flavour.
The music won’t stop there, DJ Mimi, DJ Pretty Gangsta and DJ KingHer will keep the vibes alive with explosive sets that promise to light up the dancefloor.
And just when the energy peaks, Girlfest will turn up the surprise factor with its trademark “five minutes of madness.” This year, the spotlight belongs to Uganda’s TikTok-famous father-and-son duo, Dexta and Dad, whose synchronised dance moves have captured millions of hearts worldwide. Their fun and infectious performance is tipped to be one of the festival’s most unforgettable moments.
Beyond the music, Girlfest has curated an experience that goes far deeper than the stage. Festival-goers can expect artisanal food, decadent desserts and golden-hour cocktails, all designed to match the laid-back luxury of the theme. Interactive experiences like Sip & Paint, the Hugging Booth and Affirmation Activations will offer unique moments of connection, creativity and empowerment.
Adding to the glamour is a headline partnership with Brutal Fruit, a brand synonymous with stylish women across Africa. Their presence promises to elevate the festival with chic activations and indulgent experiences that perfectly complement the Girlfest vibe.
With its unbeatable mix of music, fashion, food and sisterhood, Girlfest 2025 is shaping up as the ultimate girls’ day out.
