Girls La Musica’s journey began in 2003 when her sister Priscilla Taurai formed the ensemble in Tshabalala Extension, Bulawayo. The group toured the country and at one time appeared in many musical videos among them Paradzai Messi and Njerama Boys’ all-time hit song titled Rugare .

Of the original founding members only Taurai and Sandra Nyandoro remain with Buhlebenkosi Ncube and Thandiwe Tshuma joining the ranks.
