HYPE ROCKS HARARE AS FANS ANTICIPATE NASTY C SHOW

With only a day left before the “Change a Life Concert” hip hop lovers are on edges of their
seats in anticipation for popular South African rapper Nasty C (21) who will be the main act.
The concert which is set for Wingate Golf Club on Saturday, organised by the Alfred Dondo
Foundation in partnership with impala Car Rental, will also star Ammara Brown, Jah
Prayzah, Ex Q and Takura among others.
Thompson Dondo, who is organising the event informed the press before preparations for the
event that Nasty C is keen to be part of the charity event meant to help orphans in Chivhu.
“Nasty C said that he was willing to come to Zimbabwe for the benefit concert which is
slatted for August 18,” Dondo said.
“When we explained to him about the concert he quickly accepted the offer saying he grew
up under such conditions because he was raised by a single parent,” he added.
Impala’s brand and projects manager Tracy Ngoma said Nasty C is expected in the country
on Saturday.
“On Friday we are expecting Ammara while Nasty C will arrive on the day of the event,” said
Ngoma.
Despite his age, the South African rapper has become a big name in across the hip hop
landscape and African showbiz in general with his latest piece of work “Strings and Bling”
shaking showbiz already.
Nasty C made in into SA Hip Hop Magazine’s Top 10 African rappers at the age of 19,
where Zimbabwe’s Takura also earned a place.
