I am father of Hip Hop:Holy Ten

RAPPER Holy Ten has once again divided opinion on social media after he claimed that he is the ‘father’ of Zim Hip Hop.

In his post, he claimed he was the game-changer in the fast growing genre.

“I am the father of Zim Hip Hop all the way from Voltz, Kikkie and everyone that is doing Hip Hop.

“And, as the father, I have to speak the truth and lead the youth,”

In his post, he claimed he was the game-changer in the fast growing genre.

“I am the father of Zim Hip Hop all the way from Voltz, Kikkie and everyone that is doing Hip Hop.

“And, as the father, I have to speak the truth and lead the youth,” reads the rapper’s post.

The post angered Ti Gonzi and he posed a question to Holy Ten.

“Is Mark Ngwazi the father of sungura?” posted Ti Gonzi.

In an interview, Ti Gonzi said Holy Ten was being disrespectful to the Zim Hip Hop culture and he was going to bring himself down.

“The moment you come into the game saying you are the father of Zim Hip Hop, when I’m still alive, I will definitely stop you.

“Holy Ten used the wrong term, he is not the father of Zim Hip Hop rather he has monopolised it.

“I am the only Zim Hip Hop artist with a NAMA nomination for Outstanding Male Artist and I’m also the only one who has scooped the award,” he said.

“I am going to face off with Holy Ten but the problem is, there is no Zim Hip Hop rapper who wants to face me on stage.”

It’s not the first time Holy Ten has sensationally claimed to be the greatest in the genre.

He once claimed to have outclassed Dhadza D in August this year.
