Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will patrol the premises, monitor property access, and enforce company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain security systems and controls.
- Inspect and patrol premises regularly to deter and detect signs of intrusion.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious behavior.
- Communicate effectively with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency medical personnel.
- Ensure the security of all personnel and visitors by monitoring public access.
- Respond to alarms and analyze security footage.
- Investigate suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches.
- Apprehend trespassers and perpetrators when necessary.
- Maintain an activity log and prepare surveillance reports.
- Adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Registered as a security officer.
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in various situations.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of public safety and security operations.
