Kuda Nyabadza’s journey to becoming a leading figure in the engineering consulting field began in her childhood, watching her father work as a land surveyor in Zimbabwe.
Inspired by his dedication, she pursued a degree in civil engineering from the National University of Science and Technology and later earned a master’s in project management from the University of Pretoria.
With 12 years of experience in various engineering consulting roles, including group manager, Nyabadza founded Kuma Consulting Engineers. As CEO, she oversees projects across sectors like infrastructure, environment, and energy, providing services such as architectural design, project management, and IT solutions. Under her leadership, the company has grown to earn $20 million in annual revenue and celebrated its ninth anniversary.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Nyabadza is passionate about education and empowering disadvantaged youths through the Kuma Foundation Charitable Organization. The foundation supports schools in Zimbabwe and South Africa, providing resources and assistance to help young people achieve their dreams.

She hopes to complete her doctoral studies in business administration and continue using her company’s profits and influence to support educational initiatives in Zimbabwe and surrounding nations.
