Kuvimba Mining House (KMH) will host the 2024 Chamber of Mines Inter Mines Golf Tournament at the Hillside Golf Course in Mutare on September 21 and 22.
Chamber of Mines CEO Isaac Kwesu announced that KMH’s subsidiary, Freda Rebecca, will help coordinate the event. He noted that the tournament has historically brought together key stakeholders from the mining sector, including member mines, associates, and suppliers, fostering networking and discussions on enhancing mining operations and policy issues.

Kwesu highlighted the opportunity for participants to address important industry matters and advocate for positive change. KMH Group CEO Trevor Barnard mentioned that the location was chosen to support local industries and suppliers in Mutare. He expressed KMH’s commitment to developing Zimbabwe’s mineral resources to improve livelihoods sustainably.
Barnard also recognized the Chamber of Mines as a crucial partner, emphasizing the tournament’s role in fostering competition and networking among industry players. The event will include a cocktail function, dinner, and various prizes.
