Influencer Tariro Gezi said the leaked chats with businessman Wicknell Chivayo are real, but she strongly denies flirting with him.
“Wicknell is a public figure that I admire, but I’m not one for scandals. The only time I spoke to him was when I was trying to assist musician Greatman in getting an electric wheelchair after Greatman posted his plea to Chivayo on Facebook,” Gezi explained.
Gezi’s justification for her contact with Chivayo comes amid growing skepticism. “I then took that post and sent it to Chivayo’s DM, and I don’t see that as a bad move. I was only trying to help.”
She lamented the damaging power of the internet. “It’s sad that the internet is now used as a tool to destroy careers. I’ve never called or met Chivayo in person. It was just that innocent Instagram chat, and I think the leaked chats are a way of trying to discredit what I’ve built over the years.

I didn’t flirt with Chivayo,” Gezi told the Chronicle.
Interestingly, Chivayo has denied the conversations, which went viral on social media, claiming they are fake and the fabrication of certain enigmatic individuals who want to destroy his reputation.
But, he knows the damage was serious, even if the messages were not real. They hurt the reputations of many people whose names were mentioned in the messages.
Chivayo apologized, especially to Prophet Edd Branson, because the messages involved his wife, Maxine Adam. Chivayo understands how much trouble these messages caused for everyone involved.
