Let Them Trust Director, Chido Musasiwa took the media practitioners on a field trip to Domboshawa where she shared her vision of building the Let Them Youth village.
“We are going build about 65 structures from different Zimbabwean tribes which people will get to stay in, above all that there will be an amphitheater for different performances and organized school trips for a maximum of 200 students at a time,” said Chido.
The land which prides itself of a cave with beautiful ancient rock paintings is situated on a hill where one after coming out of a hut can smell the breath of fresh air accompanied by the singing of birds and an aerial view of Domboshawa.
To complete the project they are to raise $1.2 million to construct the village on the 15 hectares land which they are doing through crowd funding and partnerships, so far they have only raised not more than $1 000
