Livingstone Sunhwa’s mother feels her son was murdered and has already made preparations for the worst following his disappearance from St. Mathias Tsonzo High School on December 6 of last year and the discovery of human remains at the school last week.
Last Friday, human remains thought to be those of Livingstone were found in a bush not far from the school.
To determine whether the human remains are those of Livingstone, the Criminal Investigation Department (CIDhomicide )’s division has taken up the investigations and is currently conducting Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) tests.
It is believed that on Sunday, the police took samples from Livingstone’s mother.
Ms. Tadya and the rest of her family are having a hard time understanding the most recent developments, especially in light of the fact that the school administration in charge of her son has not gotten in touch with them to express sympathy since since Livingstone went missing.
The mother believes that the school and the institution’s overseeing body, the Anglican Church, might have handled the situation better despite the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education’s statement of remorse and the headmaster’s suspension to allow for investigations.
The Manica Post followed up with Ms. Tadya as news of the finding of the human remains spread around the nation.
The body parts were missing and scattered over the area, according to Ms. Tadya.
She questioned how long it would take to resolve the case given that police investigations had taken nearly seven months to complete.
Ms. Tadya demanded that those responsible for her son’s disappearance be prosecuted.
She claimed that, if she experiences any grief at all, it won’t start until the problem is resolved.
The family values privacy, but it is being eroded by the fact that the issue is widely covered in social and mainstream media.
The woman claimed that when their father passed away in 2010, she worked tirelessly to raise Livingstone and his sister, Pride.
If the DNA testing reveal that the remains are those of Livingstone, she expressed the excruciating anguish of losing a child and that she would carry it with her for the rest of her life.
I will never be able to get over this. I’ll have to deal with it every day. Every day of my life, I shall carry this grief, she declared.
No mother, sister, or anybody else should have to endure such suffering. It is disastrous.
