Love Triangle Drama As Two Men Married to One Woman Share Bedroom Divided by Curtain

Brenda Cheri

In Harare, a complex living arrangement has emerged involving two men sharing a wife Brenda Cheri, with the trio cohabiting in the same bedroom, divided by a curtain.

According to H-Metro Takemore Kagaire alleges that his wife, Brenda Cheri, entered into a second marriage while they were mourning the loss of their child. He claims that she has since brought her new partner into their home.

During a hearing at the Harare Civil Court, Kagaire argued that Cheri committed bigamy by marrying another man while they were still grieving. He described the uncomfortable living situation, stating that he has been denied conjugal rights as Cheri chooses to be intimate with her new partner in his presence.

Kagaire recounted that Cheri has been living with her new husband for two years, and each time he expressed a desire to visit, she responded with insults. He expressed shock at her decision to invite her lover into their home and reported that she threatened him when he confronted her about it.

He claimed that Cheri has severed his communication with her family, instructed them not to engage with him, and has insulted him in front of their children, who are confused by the arrangement. Kagaire further stated that Cheri sometimes locks him out of their home at night while she goes out with her new partner.

In response, Cheri denied Kagaire’s allegations and accused him of being responsible for their child’s death, stating that his behavior prompted her to seek a protection order against him. She asserted that she fled after the funeral because she feared for her safety.

The presiding magistrate, Mandlenkosi Ndlovu, granted a protection order in favor of Cheri and encouraged the couple to find a resolution to their disputes.
