Talent Madungwe, the well-known Prophet, has successfully settled his unpaid rental debts thanks to the kind support of a feminist religious leader.
Gogo Mangena, his 70-year-old landlord, attested to the entire transaction. “He did, in fact, pay the entire amount after making the initial $100 US payment. Everything is now settled,” H Metro confirmed.
Prophet Madumgwe confirmed in an interview with H-Metro that he received rental money from UK-based Pastor Chenai Marerwa, who leads Bethel Global Ministries.
Madungwe lavished praise on Pastor Chenai for paying off his rental arrears, which he gratefully received as a birthday gift ahead of his birthday today. The self-proclaimed prophet has turned 38 years old.
Prophet Madungwe made headlines on social media after news broke out that he was struggling to pay his rent. Despite his public pleas for donations, he only received $100 from Jan Jam, which fell far short of the $800 needed to cover his rental arrears.
As a result, Madungwe’s landlady took drastic action, evicting him from the premises and leaving his belongings outside. The prophet had gone for months without paying rent, and his landlady had finally had enough.
The incident sparked a lively debate on social media, with many people expressing shock and disappointment at Madungwe’s situation. Some criticized him for soliciting donations from his followers instead of looking for a job so that he would be able to look after himself.
Prophet Madungwe is also a beneficiary of an Aqua car donated to him by businessman Wicknell Chivhayo. However, this time, it was Pastor Chenai who came to his rescue, paying off his rental arrears. The new chapter that has been opened in Madungwe’s life today as he celebrates 38 years might turn around his fortunes, and he might be favored by heaven.
The self-styled prophet is controversial, as he claims he sometimes visits God in heaven and has breakfast with him.
