Mafikizolo advance tickets running out

By Showbiz Writer

Advance tickets to the upcoming Mafikizolo and KO gig penned in for this Saturday at Belgravia Sports Club are fast running out on the first day of selling, organisers have said.

Gig promoter Dee Nosh told Showbiz Tuesday $5 tickets were fast running out as they had sold over 1500 tickets.

“The advance tickets are fast running out. At midday today (Tuesday) we had already sold 1500 tickets out of the 2000 that are available. On the other hand we have also sold 500 tickets for $10 which mean the show is selling fast. We urge people to avoid last minute rushes by buying advance tickets,” said Dee Nosh.

Mafikizolo who have so far maintained their high standards on Zimbabwean turf are expected in the country on Friday afternoon.

“They are coming in Friday. It will be a 14 piece entourage and they will have a press conference soon after their arrival at a venue yet to be confirmed,” Dee Nosh said.

Dee Nosh’s 2 Kings Entertainment will be holding their first solo gig after partnering with other promoters for several others and expect a bumper crowd for the gig.

On their side will be the warming up temperatures considering their outdoor venue which is also spacious.

The line-up also includes Jah Prayzah and Winky D who are by far Zimbabwe’s best performers from the current crop of musicians.
