Mai Titi Opens Up "Nothing Can Break Me Anymore"

Controversial Zimbabwean comedian and social media personality Mai Titi has once again made headlines, not for drama, but for courageously opening up about her personal life, family, and the harsh criticism she’s endured over the years. In a heartfelt Facebook post that has since gone viral, Mai Titi addressed various attacks leveled against her and her loved ones, making it clear that she is unshaken and more determined than ever.

In the emotional outpouring, she tackled multiple issues, including cyberbullying, her daughter’s past mistakes, her own time in prison, and criticisms of her marriage and parents.

“Mwana wangu akatumira manudes ku boyfriend yake akamuramba… hazvireve kuti ihure,” she wrote, referring to a sensitive past incident involving her daughter. “Right now atori kuchikoro doing her diploma and I’m very proud of her samai vake.”

She also came to the defense of her other child, Titi, who chooses to dress in a tomboy style. “Hazvireve ingochani, that’s her choice of dressing… ndinodada naye nekuti hazvimutadzise kugona kuchikoro. This season arikutoenda kunotamba abroad nemadance iwayo.”

Mai Titi didn’t hold back when it came to addressing insults about her past relationships. “Kundituka kuti ndakaita varume vakawanda hazvitombondibate… kana zvaramba hatigarire surname tichihurirwa.” She emphasized that ending relationships doesn’t define her worth.

Reflecting on her prison stint, she clarified the circumstances surrounding the case involving Liberty, saying, “Takabuda tikaitwa appeal… at the end of it all I’m acquitted, I have no criminal record.”

The comedian even found humor in some of the hate. “Kunditukira imba yangu it’s the funniest… ndakazviudza kuti ndichararama zvandoafforda and I’m happy zvekuti.”

On her current marriage, she was unapologetically proud. “Murume rato godo… ndiye munhu 1 akamira neni pamaizara inbox yake muchiti andisiye. Akabva atosiya basa kuUK ndopandiri.”

Mai Titi also gave an emotional tribute to her late father, defending her family’s honor: “Baba vangu… he was an organized, hardworking man… I honour and cherish him.”

She ended the post with a powerful message: “All these insults to me don’t move me because I have won against all odds and nothing will hurt me.”
