Miss Tourism Zimbabwe spokesperson Spencer Manyemba yesterday announced that the grand finale date is going to be the 9th December 2017 at the HICC.
“There are three auditions going on until Sunday which will lead to the announcement of the final fifteen participants on 4 November,” he said.
Newly appointed tourism minister Edgar Mbwembwe in his speech assured the media full government support inviting the private sector to come on board and partner with the pageant.
The pageant patron Barbra Mzembi promised that they are going to live up to the standard that they set last year.
This year Zimbabwe Agricultural Society, ZBC, Bella Marie, Angels Hair, Fastjet, Pro Air,First Legal Choice and Shava Foods are some of the sponsors.
Manyemba reported that the main sponsor chose to remain anonymous.
