Statement by MultiChoice
As part of our ongoing efforts to keep our valued customers informed about news and current affairs that affect them, MultiChoice Africa is delighted to announce that all Southern Africa countries will have access to view the 36th SADC Summit taking place in Swaziland from 30 to 31 August 2016.
The SADC Summit will be available when MultiChoice makes Swazi TV (channel 286) available to all DStv customers in Southern Africa for over two days.
On the 30th August 2016 at 05:30am CAT, Swazi TV channel 286 will be opened to DStv Premium, Compact+, Compact, Family & Access packages in Angola, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The channel will close and revert to its original packaging on DStv in Swaziland only on the 31st August 2016 at 6:00pm.
The live broadcast of the SADC Summit Swaziland 2016 will start at 7:00am to 2.00pm on the 30th August 2016 for the official opening ceremony.
The official broadcast closing ceremony will start at 12:00pm to 5:00pm CAT on the 31 August 2016.
The SADC Summit brings together, once a year, Southern African Heads of State and governments to deliberate on various issues ranging from economic development, peace & security and poverty alleviation through regional integration services founded on democratic principles and on equitable and sustainable development.
