Popular mbira musician Andrew Muridzo clashes again with his former band member Tatenda Gomwe ( Gushungo) over the suspension of Muridzo’s manger Onisimo Sain.
Sain was suspended last week over mismanagement of funds and gross misconduct.
Speaking to Showbiz news Gushungo said, ” Sain is my fan and he has been supportive to my career and he even opted to organise gigs for me and l do not mind working with him because he is also in good books with my current manager, l know that is the reason why Muridzo dropped him out”.
The genesis of Gushungo’ and the Scatter band music has left him being labelled as a copycat of Muridzo.
Nevertheless Gushungo remarks that he was inspired by Muridzo and Jah Prayzer not that he is a copycat.
” I respect Muridzo and Jah Prayzer and they are my inspiration, lm thriving to build my name to even do better than them”, he said.
Efforts to contact Muridzo for his comment were fruitless as his mobile was unavailable till the time of publication.
Gushungo who returned recently from performing South Africa is moving around having massive shows around Zimbabwe.

ANDY Muridzo has kicked out his manager Onsimo Sain amid claims of mismanagement of funds and gross misconduct.
In a letter dated April 21, Muridzo wrote to Sain advising him of his suspension.
Ironically, Muridzo posted a video on his Instagram account accusing Sain of having built a house using his funds.
The letter reads:
“This note constitutes official notice of your suspension from Andy Muridzo & Jeetaz Band because of your most recent actions which include mismanagement of funds, gross negligence, ill treatment of the band and insubordination.
“Your suspension is until further notice.
“Below are the terms of your suspension:
1) Unless contacted beforehand, you are not permitted to interfere with the administration of all Muridzo Fan groups with immediate effect.
2) You are not permitted to use the official social media platforms including email to correspond with fans and stakeholders.
3) We advise you to refrain from making any public comments about the Muridzo brand as this is beyond your role
