NAMA Elevates Zimbabwean Talent with Exclusive Moto Moto Festival Partnership

The National Arts Merit Awards (NAMA) have announced an exciting new partnership with the prestigious Moto Moto Festival in Cologne, Germany.

As part of this collaboration, the winner of the Outstanding Breakthrough Artist (Music) Award at this year’s NAMAs will receive an all-expenses-paid trip to perform at the renowned festival in July 2025.

This groundbreaking initiative aims to empower young Zimbabwean artists by providing them with an international platform to showcase their talent, network with global creatives, and gain exposure beyond local borders.

Speaking on the partnership, NAMA officials expressed enthusiasm about the new opportunities this collaboration presents for emerging artists.

“This partnership with the Moto Moto Festival is a major step forward in our mission to provide global platforms for Zimbabwean talent. We are thrilled to create opportunities that allow young artists to experience international events of this magnitude,” said Tinashe Kitchen, NAMA Director.
