Prominent preacher Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has called on Zimbabweans to prioritise peace and unity as tensions in the country escalate.
During a global prayer session held in Lagos, Nigeria, the spiritual leader cautioned citizens against being drawn into activities that could fuel unrest.
Highlighting Zimbabwe’s strategic role in Africa, Pastor Oyakhilome noted that while the nation may be small in size, its influence is significant.
He urged Zimbabweans to remain vigilant and committed to national stability, warning that certain individuals may attempt to disrupt the peace.

“Be watchful,” he advised. “There are forces that seek to incite turmoil and disturb the harmony of the nation.”
In a show of solidarity, his ministry, LoveWorld Nation, has dedicated a special day to fasting and prayer for Zimbabwe.
His message comes at a critical time, as authorities heighten security measures in response to growing calls for protests.
With concerns over potential demonstrations, Pastor Oyakhilome’s plea aligns with broader efforts to safeguard peace and stability in Zimbabwe.
