PETER DUBE, the suspected murderer, revisited the scene of his crime yesterday and is slated to face court today.
Yesterday, Dube guided police investigators to the location where he fatally shot Shelton Chinhango, his former lover, at close range, resulting in her immediate death.
Additionally, he targeted Gamuchirai Mudungwe, his wife’s close friend, with gunfire, and inflicted injuries upon Nyaradzo, the sister of his second wife.

The reappearance of Dube, a car dealer who fled the country following the homicides, shocked local residents. However, authorities arrested him upon his return on Wednesday, having been deported from Mozambique.
“We commend the police for apprehending criminals like Peter to ensure justice is served.
The tears shed for the victims have not gone unnoticed, and we trust that justice will prevail,” expressed a resident of Gweru.
“We thank police for bringing criminals like Peter to book for justice to take it’s course.
“Ropa revana vaakauraya rakachema uye Nyadenga akazvinzwa.
“We have learnt that crime does not pay and the law will always catch up with such people.
“It is our prayer for justice to take it’s course,” said one Gweru resident.
Assistant Commissioner Paul Nyathi, the national police spokesperson, affirmed Dube’s imminent court appearance, stating, “Police will bring Peter Dube before the court tomorrow (today).
They are finalizing the necessary documentation in preparation for the hearing.”
