Police Expose Madzibaba Ishmael’s cult site with 16 graves

The raid on the cult  unveiled disturbing discoveries, including 16 unregistered graves and criminal activities of child abuse.

New revelations have surfaced following the apprehension of Madzibaba Ishmael Chokurongerwa, a cult leader known for his self-proclaimed prophetic abilities and leadership within the Johane Masowe sect, Gore Jena Penyeranyika.

The arrest took place during a police raid on Tuesday at his Lily Farm in Nyabira, uncovering a series of disturbing findings.

In another publication investigations further revealed harrowing details about the exploitation of children within the cult. Shockingly, out of 251 children found on the farm, a staggering 246 were without birth certificates.

These children were reportedly subjected to manual labor under the guise of receiving life skills education, while being denied access to formal schooling.

Moreover, the discovery of 16 unregistered graves on the premises added another layer of horror to the unfolding situation.

These clandestine burials, comprising both adult and infant remains, were carried out without proper documentation or authorization, in violation of established legal protocols.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) issued a statement confirming these findings and the subsequent arrests, shedding light on the extent of the alleged criminal activities perpetrated under the guise of religious practice.
