This development is a significant milestone in the country’s digital transformation journey and is expected to promote investment in technology, bridge the digital divide, and enhance Zimbabwe’s competitiveness in the global economy.
The licensing of Starlink is a key step towards achieving the country’s Vision 2030 goals, which prioritize innovation, science, and technology as strategic pillars for development.
With this move, Zimbabwe is poised to join the ranks of countries leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive economic growth and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
