Dancer and singer Sandra Ndebele has vowed that she is not going anywhere, despite shifting base from Bulawayo to Harare.
Popularly referred to as Sandy by her followers, the artiste was speaking to Showbiz on Monday afternoon before her performance at the City Sports Bar Jam Session.
She hailed the concept as noble and showered praises at Devine Assignment boss Biggie Chinoperekwei for supporting local music.
Sandy said the performance would be her debut but also the first of many to come as she has relocated to Harare.
“I think it’s a brilliant idea. We clap hands for Biggie for pushing such an initiative considering it is the first in Zimbabwe and it is happening not only in Harare but also in Bulawayo,” she said.
“Even the young musicians, we embrace them, perform with them and you can see the industry is going somewhere. Even us musicians with big names we also embrace the Jam Session. It is a way of promoting ourselves and pushing the new products that we have.”
She said she was looking forward to performing at the Jam Session and push her new single titled Madhlire.
“Tonight is my first time in Harare after delivering and it is also my first show after moving to Harare so they (audiences) will be seeing more of me and considering the gap hasn’t been filled. I am still there in the industry, not going anywhere,” she said.
“I am also looking forward to performing in Harare pushing my single Madhlire which I sang in Shona the whole song from the start to the finish. Hopefully Harare will also come to Bulawayo to do the Jam session.”
Young vibrant artiste Mbeu will make another appearance alongside another on fire upcoming artiste Andy Muridzo.
