As the festive season draws near, Matobo Carol Concert is excited to announce the much-anticipated Christmas in Matobo Carol Concert, a lively and heartwarming community event that will take place on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Ebenezer, Matopos.
This concert promises to be a delightful celebration of music, togetherness, and the joy of Christmas.
This year’s concert features four incredibly talented songwriters from Bulawayo—Vuyo Brown, Zarae, Nompumelelo Chitewe, and Gugu Sibanda—who have written original carols specifically for this event.
These local artists have been working closely with students from surrounding schools, teaching them these fresh, vibrant compositions. These students will have the opportunity to perform alongside the songwriters, filling the air with the beautiful sounds of their new carols and spreading the festive spirit to all who attend.
In its second year, the Christmas in Matobo Carol Concert not only highlights the incredible musical talent that Bulawayo has to offer but also reinforces the importance of community collaboration and engagement. The concert serves as a platform for local voices to be heard, and we are excited to see how it brings the community together in the true spirit of Christmas.
