At least three members of Soul Jah Love’s band remain admitted at Gweru General Hospital where their condition is reported to be stable, manager Changara has said.

The Zim dancehall chanter was involved in a road traffic accident on Thursday morning while on his way to Victoria Falls where he was scheduled to perform at on Elder Shambare’s farewell at Encore Budget Hotel in the resort town.
“Soul Jah Love sustained injuries on the right leg and head and forehead where he has about five stitches,” said Changara.
The artiste who was driving the Ford Explorer they were travelling in at the time of the accident was together with nine others of his travelling party when the vehicle burst a rear tyre and he lost control.
“He says when the tyre burst he wrestled to control the car as it was headed for a tree but ended up rolling about five times and landed on the roof,” said Changara.
“Three members of the Conquering Family Super Yute, Dembare and Magetsi are still admitted in Gweru. Soul Jah Love and Tin Tin had been referred to Harare but they were discharged when we took them to hospital.”
Changara said the Victoria Falls gig would have to be cancelled considering their circumstances.
“The promoter will have to understand us. There is nothing that we can do,” he said.
