South African Airways announces its anticipation for upcoming Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo.
The airway’s country manager for Zimbabwe, Julia Rewayi, expressed her enthusiasm for the airline’s South African Airways (SAA) participation at the upcoming Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo, which will be held in Bulawayo from October 12 to 14 2023.
“The Sanganai Hlanganani World Tourism Expo serves as a significant platform for highlighting the immense potential of the tourism industry in the region. SAA is delighted to have South Africa Tourism, along with representatives from the nine provinces and various individual companies, showcasing their offerings at this prestigious event,” said Rewayi.
Rewayi stated that SAA is dedicated to fostering an increase in travel between the two close-by nations, working with both SA Tourism and the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority. “We rejoice that the number of tourists visiting both South Africa and Zimbabwe increased significantly in 2022,” Over 500,000 tourists from Zimbabwe visited South Africa, while 230 000 tourists from South Africa traveled to Zimbabwe. “These figures highlight the mutually beneficial trade ties between the two nations, which are special for the aviation industry. In granting air access and fostering these connections, SAA has traditionally played a crucial role,” said Rewayi.
“This expo provides an excellent opportunity for SAA to showcase our exceptional services, extensive network, and the unique travel experiences we offer. In doing so, we aim to highlight the captivating attractions and destinations within both Zimbabwe and South Africa, as well as the seamless connectivity we provide to destinations around the world,”
