The Université Paris-Saclay offers IDEX scholarships to facilitate international students’ access to its master’s programs. These scholarships support academically talented foreign students, particularly those aiming to pursue research projects up to the doctoral level.

All master’s programs accredited by Université Paris-Saclay, excluding vocational training courses.

Scholarship Benefits:
- A financial award of €10,000 per academic year, disbursed over a minimum of 10 months (September to June).
- Additional support of up to €1,000 for travel and visa-related expenses, based on the applicant’s country of residence.
- The scholarship is granted for one or two years, depending on the student’s admission level (M1 or M2), and renewal depends on the completion of required academic credits.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be:
- International students accepted into a master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay or one of its partner institutions.
- Aged 30 or younger in the selection year.
- Foreign nationals residing in France for less than a year, provided they are enrolled in non-degree courses such as internships or language training (FFL).
- Students who previously studied in France through an academic exchange or mobility program that did not lead to a degree.
Ineligible Applicants:
- Students already enrolled in a French higher education institution, except for those attending a French university abroad.
- Individuals who have taken a study break of more than three consecutive years.
- Students receiving other scholarships exceeding €650 per month.
Application Process:
- Admission to a master’s program at Université Paris-Saclay is a prerequisite for scholarship consideration.
- Selected candidates will receive an email with a link to the online application. Applications are by invitation only—unsolicited applications are not accepted.

- Master’s program application: May 5, 2025
- Scholarship application submission: May 12, 2025
