The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust offers two fully funded scholarships for students from developing countries who wish to pursue a taught Master’s degree at SOAS University of London.

Any full-time Master’s programme offered by the College of Humanities, excluding:
- MA Buddhist Studies
- MA Buddhist Studies with Intensive Language
- MA Traditions of Yoga and Meditation

Target Audience:
Students who are residents of low-income or lower-middle-income countries as classified by the World Bank.
Scholarship Value:
Each scholarship is valued at £32,500, which will be applied toward tuition fees. However, the scholarship does not cover living expenses, maintenance, or accommodation costs.

To qualify, applicants must:
- Be residents of low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as defined by the World Bank), preferably from households with limited financial resources.
- Hold a first-class undergraduate degree.
- Apply for a Master’s programme at SOAS and meet the English language requirements for admission. Applicants do not need to have received an offer at the time of applying for the scholarship but must have one by the time the selection panel meets.
- Note that these scholarships do not provide funding for pre-sessional courses or preparation.
Application Process:
Applicants must submit a complete online application for their chosen programme at SOAS. Admission applications may take up to 4–6 weeks for processing, especially during peak periods, so candidates should plan accordingly.
Scholarship applications must be submitted by 12:00 pm (UK local time) on 7 February 2025.
