The EatOut Movement for the homeless founders Henry Chigama and Nicole Rautenbach are hosting a feast with a difference where major players in different industries will be serving lunch to the homeless.
“We are looking to raise funds that will be used to build a transitional shelter for the homeless and for funding them with sustainable programs,” commented Chigama.
Chigama who was once homeless and understands what people go through in such the harsh environments was compelled to take a stand and fight for the homeless and putting an end to it.
On 21 September 2019 the big feast will be at Hellenic Cultural Centre Eastlea in Harare. There will be live performances by the World Choir Games silver medalist choir Note2etoN,Blessing Bled Chimanga, Alexio Kawara, Masa Caroleen, Mangoma & Music According to Percussion, Edith WeUtonga and Malawian Patience Namadingo among loads more top musicians.
The Music Feast is aimed at raising awareness of the plight of the homeless who often go unnoticed and unloved by society. The hashtag of the MusicFeast is #PlizDont4getUs which is the title of a song by award-winning Note2etoN choir and is the EatOut Movement theme song which shall be officially launched on the day.
